This sort of project needs a lot of work to be done before, during and after the production.

First and foremost, I want to thank a man called Les Morrison, better known to us all as Lucky Starr.

When I contacted him with the idea of creating this podcast, he was delighted to be involved. He was also most gracious in spending some time with me recording the opening episode during which we chatted about the song and the impact it has had on his career.

Another person who provided input and valuable statistical information is Steve Scanes - an absolute guru when it comes to Australian Chart history. Very knowledgeable and most generous with his time. If you love your Australian music charts, you should "do yourself a favour" and purchase his limited edition book called The Book: Top 40 Research. Edition 11 was released during 2024 and covers the charts back to 1950, week by week, artist by artist, song by song.
